Oval form and low branches make this a superb tree that attracts wildlife and gives a strong specimen structure to a large landscape . Leaves turn a golden brown in fall. Excellent shade tree. Deciduous.

    Great specimen tree nicely grafted -well packaged & shipped - A rare version of a beech tree magnificent at maturity and attractive until that time ~ one of the oldest specimens at the original Barnes Arbiretum outside Philadelphia
