Acer circinatum 'Bort's Broom' Dwarf form of the Northwest USA native vine maple a dramatic green cultivar that tolerates the sun. Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade, but can take some hot sun – as long as it's not all day. In sun Bort’s Broom green leaves are outwardly a very attractive cherry red. Borts Broom is a dwarf maple that tend to grow into a tighter bush form compared to the lanky parent plant. Prefers organic rich well drained soil.

    'Bort's Broom' is another rare cultivar and Kigi seems to always have such rare cultivars in their collection. It arrived healthy and happy and now I will study it for my research. Thank you.
