Deodar Cedar is native to the West Himalayas from West Nepal to Afghanistan. Coniferous trees with dark brown to black colored bark. Our cultivars offer many colors of needles, green, blue, yellow, golden.... the needle like leaves are longer than the popular cousin Atlas Cedar and tend to weep at the tips. The barrel shaped cones are green ripening to brown. Many forms are available from dwarf, weeping, columnar... Kigi Nursery offers many cultivars of Cedrus deodara not commonly found in the nursery trade.
