Chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Aldrich Mt.' A cold hardy form of Alaskan Yellow Cedar. A relic of the last ice age. Found at 5300 ft. on Aldrich Mountain in Central Oregon. Thought to be a sub-species we now believe this is a high altitude Thuja plicata. Plant almost a cross of the two genuses.
