Thuja occidentalis 'Jantar' PP#22296 Golden Emerald Arborvitae is an exciting new brilliant yellow beacon from Poland. The eye popping yellow on this cultivar becomes a warmer amber tone during winter, hence the name 'Jantar', Polish for amber. With the same narrow upright habit as its popular green parent this selection will add dramatic color to the landscape as a focal plant or privacy screen. Selected by Jakub Jablonski of Poland and introduced to the U.S. by Breederplants.

    I planted my plant from Kigi about 8 years ago. It is 8 feet tall and 2 feet wide, and has split to 4 leaders, but still keeps a good pyramidal attitude. It maintains a good gold cast, especially in winter. It seems to have no real problems or pests of any kind, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

    Tree took about a week to ship; worth the wait. Beautiful cultivar, perfect specimen, even more vibrant than the photos. Love ordering my specimen conifers from this nursery.

    Beautiful vibrant lime green and yellow tree. Although just about 7" tall (1 year) -it is a focal point in garden.
