Acer palmatum 'Twombly's Red Sentinel' Japanese Maple Tree a vigorous, upright, red tree that develops a wonderful columnar form, allowing room in a compact garden. Leaves hold the strong red color all season long, and after they drop, the branches continue the colorful display. They darken to a deep, warm red that stands out against the grays and whites of winter. Prefers organic rich well drained soil.
