Acer palmatum 'Shigitatsu sawa' A variegated Japanese Maple. Contrasting seasonal colors distinguish this unique Japanese maple. White spring leaves with showy green veins; as the leaves turn green into the summer, the veins darken too. Orange and red complete the two-tone show in autumn. Protection from full sun, which can burn the leaves, benefits the beautiful, medium size tree. Organic rich well drained soil is preferred.
