Pinus strobus 'Macopin' A Dwarf form of White Pine. Found as a witch’s broom in Macopin, New Jersey. Round shaped when young and starts growing slightly irregular with age. Produces many cones even at an early age. Will take some shade but prefers full sun to achieve its best. Tolerant of most locations but will flourish in fertile, well-drained soil.

    The tree was a little smaller than expected but it looks fairly good. It was packed rather tight in a small package, so I hope it rebounds ok...so far so good. Shipping took a little longer than expected. Hope to see this tree thrive over the next couple years.

    Have bought many 1-, 2-year plants from Kigi, but never a 7-year. Took a chance with a Macopin. And SO glad I did. The UPS guy brought me a gorgeous, incredibly healthy plant (in full bud!). Thanks, Kigi.
